Quail Valley Farm
Solar Installation
Overview
RDE delivers a 250kW solar installation for Quail Valley Free Range in Tasman. The system powers much of the site's daily electricity demand and supports the business's ongoing transition towards greater electrification and energy independence.
Project Objectives
Reduce reliance on grid electricity.
Support future electrification projects across the site.
Improve energy resilience and operational continuity.
Create infrastructure that supports future growth.
Approach
We design and install a 250kW solar system around the site's current energy demands and future plans. The project is delivered with scalability in mind, ensuring the system can support new electrical infrastructure as the business evolves.
Outcome
The solar array generates a substantial portion of the site's electricity needs and supports upcoming electrification initiatives. The project helps improve energy resilience, lower emissions, and provide a more self-sufficient energy solution.
“We couldn’t recommend Rowan Dron Electrical highly enough. From start to finish of our solar farm installation, their communication was clear and consistent, and the quality of their work was exceptional. Their team was professional, efficient and incredibly flexible, adapting to our operational requirements as they evolved throughout the project. It was a large undertaking, and their ability to work alongside our day-to-day operations while maintaining such a high standard made the entire process seamless.”
